Doctors should be allowed to help critically ill patients to commit suicide. It is the doctors CONSENT to provide this for the ill patients as long as they have permission from that person. The patients CRITERIA is to be put away from their misery, they have the choice to do so. People give to much EMPHASIS and makes it seem like this is a bad thing when it's the right thing to do. These people have lived a long healthy life and then its just time to go.
I like your post. It makes me think a lot. The only question I have is "should these critically ill patients be evaluated to see if they are mentally competent to make that decision?" If I were critically ill, I would not want to live a life of pain and misery.
