I think it is very unfair for high school students to have to pass both of the math and english tests to graduate. Some students feel pressured and think they are going to do a bad job on the tests. They also get lazy because of all the questions they have to go through. I agree with as long as students don't have any D's or F's in any core classes throughout classes without making them up, then they should not be able to graduate.
I don't agree, because than no one in this generation would graduate.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jen. If students know that they can slack, and dont have to take a test that they can prove about what they learned. They shouldnt graduate.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in high school, we just had to pass our classes to graduate. I think people got the idea of having students all take the same test because they were worried that teachers had different expectations about grading.
