Academic Language Week 33 - American Students

I don't think American students are falling behind academically COMPARED to other countries. In other countries they might take school more seriously, but were not slacking. American students are right in their RANGE. I'm sure that other countries really aren't as high tech as us Americans. If someone was to go around and collect DATA to see who has the highest scores or something like that no country can top our standards. Additionally, we probably don't go to school as much as others but it doesn't mean were not as educated. In conclusion, the American students have a lot of knowledge so there is no reason to say were falling behind just because were not in school as much.
