The Gift of the Magi- My Most Generous Gift

I have not really given any gifts in any holiday, I don't think that the kids have to get other people presents for christmas. If I were to give someone a gift it would be something related to sports like a jersey or something autographed from there favorite player. When christmas comes and think about getting a gift for someone but never end up doing it. One time I did feel like being generous and bought a gift for one of my friends, I got him a basketball that had good grip. It wasn't the best gift but it made him happy.

The Gift of the Magi-Suprise Ending

I felt that the story was good and understandable but the ending was horrible. The couple should of communicated so both of there possesions wouldn't have vanished. It was to make eachother happy, my feelings after that just made my jaw drop. The ending was sincere and loving to the females but as a guy I thought it was horrible. I realized that Della needed money to buy her husband that chain for his pocket watch. She didn't have to cut her hair off, then Della got a gift to put on her hair but she didn't have any! The conclusion of the story was very ironic.

The Gift of the Magi- Item I'd save

The item I would save during a flood would be a cell phone. I would use it to call 911 to have a helicopter come and pick me up before the water level gets to the point where its over my head. That way it could pick others up to so it can save more people. You can just call quickly then the rescue team will be there within minutes. The cell phone probably  would get wet and break, if I had a cell phone I then would have to use it as soon as possible before the damage is done. I hope to have my cell phone with me at all times so when a disaster happens like that  I can reach for it and call for help immediately.
