“The Pedestrian” Before You Read: Life in 2053

Life in 2053 will be out of control because there will be flying cars and prices for things will be high. Don't get me wrong but flying cars would be pretty nice. I wouldn't mind that but I just think things will get worse and worse as time goes on. Unless a miracle happens but I don't see one of those happening anytime soon. When 2053 comes I seen things really clean because generations from now to then will be a lot better. The presidents in the future will most likely not make everything better then what it needs to be. But maybe when that time comes there won't be a depression.

“The Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket” Minute Paragraph

 One minute of my life I was just looking around to see whats going on. During that minute there was a lot of people socializing. I just sat around and thought what to do the next minute that was about to happen. I was   talking to someone else that I knew thats near by. But I didn't exactly think of a subject to talk about. What ever comes up then thats what were going to be communicating about. Everything kind of happened real fast but the minute went by quicker then I expected.

“Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket” My Yellow Paper Paragraph

The item I would risk my life for is my cell phone. The reason why is because it has all my contacts in there and its the only way I can get a hold of my family and friends. Especially if they live far away, I won't be able to go over there to ask them what there number was again. To be honest my phone is my life, If I were to lose it I would be real upset. The thing I do to make sure my phone is safe is to put a phone case on it. But even with it on I don't think it will save it from falling off a two or three story building.

“The Contents of the Dead Man’s Pocket” Conflicts & Surprise

The name of the story was "Dead Man's Pocket." When Tom re-entered his apartment the paper flew out the window so Tom had to go out and get it. But before he entered he was stuck so that was the internal conflict. Tom experienced fear and could of fell off when he looked down but he was real lucky. His decision was real significant because he didn't have to go get his paper he could of just let it go but it was really important to him. It basically changed everything, now he can spend time with his wife and also work.

"Contents of the Dead Man's Pocket" Before You Read: Paralyzed by Fear

When I first experienced fear was when I first started middle school. It was in Meridian Idaho, when I was about ten or eleven. It was all the kids that I feared because it was my first time living there and didn’t know a lot of people so I was shy most of the time until I met more kids. Then later that year I started getting to know what other kids liked doing. Next I started to go over my friends house after school and did things that we all liked to do which was going to the high school football games down the street. Later my fear was only on how would I socialise with other kids I didn’t know that were around me.

Movie Plot Summary Paragraph

In the movie Elf, it was played by an actor named Will Ferrell. He was a orphan that was stowed away in Santa's sack and ended up in the North Pole. Later, as an adult human who was raised by elves. Santa allows him to go find his birth father in New York City, Walter Hobbs. The conflict was that "Buddy" the elfs' father who was on Santa's naughty list for being a heartless jerk also not knowing Buddy was his son. The climax is when Buddy met his father at his job and his father's wife brings him to his house for dinner. Then Buddy interferes with Walter's job, meanwhile Christmas is around the corner. Santa then comes to New York and has no Christmas spirit to bring his sled up in the air so it is able to fly. So Buddy and his father's wife sing a song with hundreds of thousands of others around and the sled begins to fly. At the conclusion of the movie Buddy stays at his home with his father and begins a normal life.

First Day of School Paragraph 2011

When I woke up on the first day of my sophmore year of school at San Pasqual Academy, I felt good right when I got up. Then, I got dressed and brushed my teeth hoping it will be a good day. Later, I was going class to class thinking how difficult it might be having all these core classes. But I know deep down I can do anything as long as I put in the hard work. Toward the end of the day I really felt relaxed because I thought the day wasn't going to end but now everything is going good. At the end of the day I was tired because of football, then I just went to sleep. Next thing I know it was day two!
