Symbolism in "The Skull and the Arrow" Underdog Paragraph

A time when I was a underdog was the championship football game I had. We lost to them earlier in the season by two touchdowns. When we played them again we then redeemed ourselves and gave them a taste. At the end it was close but we pulled it off, then won the championship by one touchdown. The final score was eight to sixteen. Our team was the underdogs because they were more experienced and defeated us during the beginning of the season. The opposing team was underestimating our potential. It didn't effect us anyways because we won.
