Academic Language Week 30 - "D" Grades

Schools should not eliminate "D" grades because they are helpful for a student that has a low "F". The student can motivate his or her way to want to get that "D" so its atleast passing. It COMPENSATES from a "F", this INITIALY helps so that a "F" will not be on that report card. Schools should INTERACT and keep this the way it is because in my opinion "D's" are not good but it is still passing. There really isn't a big deal with getting rid of it but most students that have bad grades really strive to get that grade if needed.
